FREE ACTIVITIES

Broadwater Parklands

Broadwater Parklands is about a 5-minute drive from the Southport accommodation. The world-class community and cultural parkland offer a variety of family-friendly activities. There are numerous shady areas where you may have a picnic, for starters. One of the parkland’s 14 barbecues is available for use. If you want to eat out, you can go to one of the onsite restaurants and dine beneath the shade of a tree.

The parklands’ three different playgrounds – Northern play attraction, Adventure play attraction, and Washington Waters play attraction – will also appeal to children. In addition, the parkland is direct across the street from the famed Australia Fair Shopping Centre. If you want to go shopping before or after your visit to Broadwater Parklands, here is the place to go.

Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets

When shopping, you must go to the Gold Coast’s most iconic beachfront market. The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets, which have been around since 1995 and feature artisan and distinctive Australian goods, are located alongside the famous Surfers Paradise Esplanade. Fresh fruit and homemade crafts are also available with live music and children’s activities.

This Easter, the market will be eggstra special if you hop down Surfers Paradise Esplanade. There will be Easter giveaways, unending fun, and the Easter Bunny!
